Mission and
Vision:
The Ogwashi-Uku Association USA Inc. Southeast
Chapter. OASEC is a 501(C)(3), non‐profit organization,
incorporated in the USA and its vision is to upgrade the education
standards of people of Ogwashi‐Ukwu by providing basic amenities in
elementary and secondary schools, to improve health care
delivery in Ogwashi‐Ukwu and to curb the ravages of chronic
diseases. The association also promotes unity, cultural awareness
and respect for other cultures. Ogwashi‐Ukwu is located in Delta
State, Nigeria
This Association was first conceived
as a socio-cultural group for the welfare of the Ogwashi-Ukwu
people in the United States of America. It is a meeting of ndi
Ogwashi in the Southeast USA with membership drawn from Alabama,
Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Indiana
andTennessee.
We have monthly teleconferences and meet
face-to-face, every quarter (four times an year) - Members
volunteer to host the quarterly meetings in their homes on a
rotational basis,
